British Abstract Artist Rachel Camilleri is best known for her bright abstract artworks, characterised by bold layerings of vibrant colours and textures.  She works mainly with acrylics and spray paints and uses a selection of squeegee’s to manipulate the medium. Rachel likes to create work that is intuitive and expressive as she draws inspiration from the world around her.  

A life long love of painting inspired Rachel’s career which has led to selling work internationally and exhibiting in the Miniature Museum of Contemporary Art in The Netherlands.

Painting for Rachel is therapeutic, she uses her art as a positive outlet for expressing her emotions. Her process can be energetic, using big expressive movements when creating, which gives a sense of motion and energy to her artworks. 

Rachels works can be found gracing the glossy pages of House & Garden Magazine and on the walls of a few Manchester Restaurants. She has also collaborated with a premium dancewear company; ‘From Artist to Artist’ to create some beautiful dance leotards and gym wear.

Rachel was raised in Salford, Manchester and is currently based in Marbella, Spain where she works from her studio in La Cala De Mijas.

Rachel is open to commissions and collaborations for private, commercial and public art.
