Very excited to be working with Interior Designer Alison Bethell-Collins, whose Cattelan Italia Showroom is based in San Pedro Alcantara. To see a small selection of my artworks pop into her interior design shop, where you will find some exquisite pieces of furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, soft furnishings, accessories and art.
As some of you will already know I moved to Spain in July 2022 to experience a different lifestyle, climate and culture. I set up my studio in the beautiful hills of la Cala De Mijas, which I’ve not had chance to write about as Ive been busy creating a beautiful artwork called Euphoria for a UK client. So with that and the job of settling my family into life here, its been none stop!
My studio is based at the renowned Mikes Gym Marbella which is handy for me as I love a good gym session! I have an amazing space which is big enough for large scale commissions, which seems to be my speciality. The views are truly inspiring and will no doubt have an effect on my art style going forward.
Its taken time to get to know the various art suppliers, framers, delivery companies etc in the Costa Del Sol, however I’m now starting to feel more settled. I’ve also got to grips with the extra paperwork required when sending art to the UK! If anyone needs advice on this just drop me a message.

Inside my studio
I am extremely proud to have been commissioned by the curators of the ‘Miniature Museum of Contemporary Art’, to create a unique 10 x 10cm artwork. This artwork will be displayed within their new location in Amsterdam, with a planned opening of Winter 2022.
A group of architects have designed a new building for the miniature collection, which up until now has been on display in the Gemeente Museum in The Hague for 7 years.
The collection contains over 2000 original miniature artworks by more than 1200 artists. My ‘Little But Awesome’ artwork will be in great company alongside some exceptional artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Eddie Martinez, Takashi Murakami and Mario Testino to name a few. How amazing is that!
This beautiful painting will be on display at St.Ann’s Hospice in Little Hulton; in their newly renovated cafe area. I hope that my vibrant painting gives visitors a sense of uplifting escapism and if it doesn’t provide that it will certainly be a conversation starter!
St. Ann’s Hospice is a charity close to my heart for the amazing care they give to people with life limiting illnesses. My mum was a patient at the Little Hulton site for many years where she enjoyed arts and crafts and many other services they provide. The quality of care to patients and their families is outstanding and I hope that my painting will only add to this in the future.
Finally I was able to exhibit at Manchester Art Fair and I loved every minute of it! I first applied for the fair back in 2019, but due to the pandemic the event was not able to go ahead in 2020. So it felt extra special to finally be able to show my art. I loved meeting collectors of my work and people who follow me on social media. It was great to chat to other artists whose work I love and it was brilliant to gain some new collectors from the event. There was definitely a buzz in the air and people genuinely wanted to support the event. All in all it was a great success and I can’t wait to do it again!
My painting ‘Breaking Blue’ will be involved in an online exhibition, which celebrates creativity and diversity in uncertain times. All artworks will be for sale and a generous donation will be given by all artists to two amazing charities; Young Epilepsy and Mind Charity. The ‘Freedom’ exhibition will be open to view from 9.00am on 5th November 2021 and will run until 5th December 2021. Please check out the exhibition and lets raise lots of money for these amazing charities.
This painting will be donated to the Prostasia Charity Association which supports the interests of Cassandra Lacolomberie, a 13 year old girl with multiple disabilities living in Chateauroux. Cassandra needs to be operated on in Chicago to regain her motor skills and a better quality of life. My painting called ‘Hope’ will be auctioned, together with several contemporary artists work in October 2021, in Tours-France at Giraudeau Auction House and online. So excited that these ‘Little But Awesome’ paintings will be up on the walls of Salford’s historic pub ‘The Blackfriars’, as part of its exciting reopening as a pub restaurant on Tuesday 27th July 2021. A big thank you to EaselArt Bespoke for this.

I am pleased to be included in The Whisper Gallery LOVE | ART | OPEN Art Unlocked Viewing Room, alongside some fantastic artists. 25% of all sales will go to the charity Art for Heroes to raise money for NHS frontline workers.
During lockdown I’ve taken part in a project called ‘Artists for the NHS’ to raise money for meals for NHS workers. I created an uplifting piece of art called ‘By Your Side’ which will be auctioned on Jumblebee site on 5th May 2020 and will come to its conclusion on 12th May 2020. If you like this artwork please bid to raise vital money to support our NHS workers.
I have a solo exhibition from 16th April - 23rd June 2020 at The Lowry Hotel in Manchester, through Comme Ca Art gallery. The exhibition is called ‘Glow’ and will show a selection of new works from my collection. (POSTPONED DUE TO COVID 19)
I collaborate with a premium dance wear company called ‘From Artist to Artist’. The company print original art onto dance leotards and bring together talent from all over the world to create a powerful piece of wearable art. I was so pleased when the company approached me with the offer of collaborating. Growing up I danced from the age of 5 until 18 years old, dancing was a big part of my life. So to be given the opportunity to combine an old passion with my current passion of art, was beyond exciting for me.
